Hanne was born in the small town of Nykobing, Denmark in the summer of 1951.  Being born of the sun sign Cancer, she very much embodied her like of home and hearth and did not take lightly to change. However, the universe had other ideas, when she was not quite six, her family immigrated to Canada, where she grew up in Edmonton, Alberta. She learned about responsibility and love for what one does, early in life when her family opened their own small business, a bakery. She loved music and art and had an insatiable thirst for knowledge of the occult or the unknown which she kept hidden even to herself for many years.   

As Hanne matured, she had all the normal experiences of having hopes for the future, getting married and having children.  She has worked in a fulltime capacity for the same organization for over thirty years as a librarian – showing her tenacity for the familiar, reluctance to change (very Cancer) and being responsible for her childrens' well being (another trait of the nurturing Cancer).  

Again, keeping her interest of the unknown under wraps, she lived the ordinary life, with little knowledge or acceptance of the wondrous world and universe we are apart of until she faced a change in her life which took her completely off guard. It was 1984 when she went through a major life altering change – a divorce. Having been brought up with the expectation that when one married, it lasted forever, this change had Hanne start the journey of finding out who she really was. 

The journey became one of soul searching and had her reading books on spirituality and opening up to what then seemed to be new ways of looking at the world.  She intuitively knew the answers lay within her, not out there as so many people assume.  She had been introduced to the concept and practice of Meditation while she was married and knew in her heart this would be the vehicle by which many doors would begin to open. 

So in the fall of 1987, to celebrate an accomplishment and milestone in her life, she felt attending an open meditation circle would be a way to celebrate which would have the most meaning for her. Hanne did not realize this was the stepping stone for her to becoming who she is today.  She met her teacher, mentor and friend, Alex Anderson there, where he was facilitating the circle.  

Being a shy person that first evening she kept her distance in the only way she knew, by sitting in the position farthest from him, only to find out later she had inadvertently sat in the position which would connect to him the strongest.  During this evening he gave her, her first psychic/clairvoyant message and a few short months later Hanne became part of a meditation development circle facilitated by Alex. Her life was changed forever. 

Under his guidance, she began to develop her own latent abilities and began to explore forms of the occult or hidden mysteries of knowledge.  Her first divination tool was the pendulum which her friend Marion introduced to her one evening. She found that it was very accurate and even if she was not drawn to them yet, she had the ability to connect to most divination tools – tarot, runes, etc. and could give pertinent information to others using them.  She also took a series of classes in Astrology, which opened up greater understanding of herself and why she was the way she was; she learned why she was pulled toward understanding the occult and the unknown and a need to share what she has learned.  She now intuitively reads natal charts, but does not consider herself an astrologer, leaving a full reading of a chart to those who have committed themselves to the study of this science.

Today Hanne continues to learn and grow in awareness and understanding of the universe as she embraces each new change as an opportunity for further growth. She is committed to helping others along their own journeys of discovery and insight through the Meditation development circles she facilitates, the writings and guided meditations now available on CD, as well as the private readings and healing sessions she provides. 

Her view of the world may seem to some to be one though rose colored glasses.  She has found within herself the beauty and magic that surrounds us all.
