Co-Creation

You and I are both co-creators in this world and universe. We have the power to choose. We have the power to change.So why do most of us choose not to empower ourselves by truly believing this.Why do so many of us forget who we really are and become the martyrs and victims letting our circumstances create who society, our families and even our friends think we should be.

Take back your power, your free will and choose to be part of this miracle called life. Begin to see the joy in every day things. Choose to see the beautiful flower in an unattended garden instead of the weeds. Choose to see the smile and laughter in one very young or very old – they know the secret, they know who they really are – just by being.Choose to see the unique and magnificent images in the clouds instead of the rain. Choose to see the love in someone’s creations, whether it be a beautiful piece of art, a meal lovingly prepared or even an immaculate kept home. These are all choices of creation and when accomplished with love and joy are wondrous to behold.

But what can I do? I hate to cook or clean house. And I am definitely not an artist. How am I a co-creator?Ask yourself “What do I love? What are the things in my life which give me joy?” Is it holding a new born baby human or otherwise? Holding that new born is giving that being love that is within you. That’s what it is all about. Is it working toward solutions for some new device or breakthrough in science or medicine? By being part of this process, because it gives you joy; you succeed where others have failed.Is it doing an ordinary job, but enjoying every moment? Is it making others laugh or feel good about themselves?

So now I ask you, “So what do you want to create in your life?” Do you want to create a business, a family, or do you want fame or fortune? By living life with all the choices which are afforded to us, we become co-creators. We create those things which are meaningful to us. Many times we let other people’s priorities get in our way instead of sticking to what we know to be true.

Most of us know what we want at an early age. Ask any 10 or 12 year old what they want out of life. Most of them really know. They have not had the pressures of society inflicted upon them yet.

One young man I know has always wanted to make lots of money so he could live the good life and travel. He did not care what it was he did, as long as it was an honest living. He now has both money and the good life including travel. He works many more hours than the average person to have this and has made other sacrifices along the way as well. He is living his joy and is creating the life he wants.

Another young man has a totally different agenda. He has many abilities which would allow him to live the good life too, but he is using this life to heal. He creates in his world the situations and circumstances which allow him to do this. Even if he may not totally understand this on the mundane level he knows he becomes stronger and more at peace as he passes through each. He too is living and creating in life.

A woman I know lives her joy by bringing hope and love to help others through the endeavors she has taken on. Again living and creating what she has chosen to create.

I knew I wanted to be a healer when I was 10 years old. All I worked for through junior and senior high schools was to those ends. But I also wanted a family, love, etc. which changed things. Today I bring healing to others through the writing, meditations circles, psychic readings and alternative healing techniques. To my limited understanding when I was 10, my dream of being a healer was accomplished in ways I could never have imagined.

Now if we choose to sit back and do nothing, the universe, god, creator or our own inner knowing, our souls will send us messages as to where and what our part in creation and co-creating is. Many times this is when a person begins to feel the victim and the martyr.

When are we going to wake-up and realize the simple truth is we are always co-creators? We always have a choice and that all things are creations.
